Kommunrehab is a unit that is growing and developing under the Health and Medical Care section of Falun Municipality. The unit is responsible for rehabilitation within home care, special housing, LSS, and social psychiatry, as well as short-term stays. Our unit has occupational therapists, physiotherapists, rehabilitation assistants, and assistive device coordinators. Job Responsibilities With us, you will work with rehabilitation for patients in special housing and short-term care units. You will primarily meet geriatric patients and treat various diagnoses. Interventions may include everything from ADL assessments, activity training, and everyday rehabilitation to testing both simpler and more advanced assistive devices and fall prevention measures. You will have a varied, challenging, educational, and enjoyable work environment and work in a team with a physiotherapist, nurse, and care staff. Here you will have colleagues who collaborate and provide support based on their experience in a person-centered approach alongside you. In this operation, you will have the opportunity to develop rehabilitation and further strengthen existing collaborations with actors such as unit managers, care staff, nurses, primary care, and inpatient care. We work with various training initiatives and supervision in patient matters for other professional categories. Qualifications The role requires: That you are a licensed occupational therapist and can work independently and in a structured manner A valid driver's license (category B) Personal Qualities To thrive in this position, we see that you are development-oriented, positive, flexible, clear, engaged, and enjoy collaboration.
