The cognitive clinic has been in operation for just over a year and we receive patients aged 65 and older from across the region. Our mission is to evaluate individuals for suspected cognitive disease, support patients and their families, and follow up on complex cases. About the role As an occupational therapist at Ersta Hospital's cognitive clinic, you will be part of a team with physicians, psychologists, and nurses. Your main responsibilities include activity and functional assessments in the evaluation of cognitive disease. You will also have the opportunity to trial and prescribe assistive devices, participate in educational initiatives, conduct cognitive assessments, and contribute to the development of the service. As a relatively small team, you will have great influence in shaping the occupational therapist's role. Who are you? You are confident in your professional role and enjoy working in a team. You have good collaboration skills, are receptive, and communicate in a constructive manner. You take responsibility for your own work, are positive, and focus on problem-solving. Your experience We are looking for a licensed occupational therapist with several years of professional experience. We view positively if you have experience with comprehensive evaluations of cognitive disease and/or experience with basic assessments.
