The Adult Habilitation Clinic serves individuals over 18 years old with permanent functional limitations such as intellectual disability, autism spectrum disorder, or mobility impairments. The operations are conducted in accordance with the Health and Medical Services Act (HSL) and the Act on Support and Services for Certain People with Disabilities (LSS). We also serve patients' next of kin as well as staff and assistants. The operations are conducted as interdisciplinary teamwork together with social workers, speech-language pathologists, psychologists, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists. The Adult Habilitation Clinic in Northwestern Skåne consists of two clinics, one in Helsingborg and one in Ängelholm. Our clinics have well-developed collaboration and it is common for colleagues to assist at both locations. We are now recruiting two new occupational therapists to the unit, one position at each clinic. 2 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As an occupational therapist, your tasks include conducting assessments and providing support interventions to our patients, both individually and in groups. You will also work with information, supervision, consultation, and testing and follow-up of certain assistive devices. The work is performed both independently and together with colleagues. We work in teams where all professions are equally important and we support each other daily in our work with our patients. The position's location will be determined according to preference and agreement. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who are a licensed occupational therapist with authorization to practice within Swedish healthcare. Swedish language proficiency at a minimum of C1 level according to the Council of Europe scale is a requirement. Experience from habilitation activities and/or other work with our target groups is considered a merit. Our adult habilitation clinics in Northwestern Skåne are characterized by great commitment and a willingness to contribute and share our experiences and knowledge. We are therefore looking for someone who has the ability to plan and prioritize your work tasks. The role also involves many contact points and collaboration with several different people. It is therefore important that you are communicative and clear in both speech and writing, and have the ability to listen and observe what others communicate.
