Occupational Therapist at Habilitation Center Sollentuna Children About Us Habilitation Center Sollentuna Children is a specialist outpatient clinic that is part of the Rehabilitation & Health operations within Region Stockholm. We provide services to children aged 0-17 years with permanent functional impairments such as autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disability, or mobility impairment. Work is conducted in interprofessional teams together with social workers, speech-language pathologists, psychologists, physical therapists, and special education teachers. The clinic employs a total of seven occupational therapists. Our service area covers the northwestern part of the county, including the municipalities of Järfälla, Solna, Sollentuna, Upplands-Väsby, Sigtuna, and Upplands-Bro. Our clinic is located in pleasant premises in central Sollentuna with proximity to commuter trains, buses, restaurants, and shops, approximately 15 minutes' travel from the city center. About the Position We are now seeking an occupational therapist for our autism team. The target group is children and youth aged 5-17 years with autism and their support networks. You will receive independent, varied, and highly stimulating work. Job duties consist of a broad spectrum of occupational therapy interventions. Your role involves sharing knowledge with parents and networks about support to help patients manage their daily life activities. The work includes functional assessments, mapping, prescriptions, and follow-ups of assistive devices for example cognitive support, advice and support on home modifications or structuring daily routines. Services can be provided both individually and in group form. Our patients often have complex needs requiring collaboration, not only within the team but with healthcare neighbors, municipal services, and other authorities. Job duties are varied and require flexibility. Work takes place primarily at the clinic but sometimes also in the patient's immediate environment. About You We are seeking someone who is a licensed occupational therapist with an interest in working with children with various functional impairments and their support networks. It is a merit if you have experience in rehabilitation or other work with individuals within our target group. You have good ability for both independent work and collaboration with the interprofessional team. You have good planning skills and are organized. We place great importance on personal suitability.
