We are now seeking an occupational therapist for Habiliteringen's adult team. About Us Habiliteringen offers services to people with congenital or early-acquired disabilities. We provide evidence-based care based on current research and proven experience. Habiliteringen is represented with a department in Karlshamn and one in Karlskrona, but we see ourselves as one Habiliteringen with close collaboration across the region. We have approximately 50 employees, of whom 7 are occupational therapists. As a new occupational therapist with us, you will receive thorough introduction and professional supervision from an experienced colleague. About the Job Habiliteringen offers meaningful work with complex and developmental patient cases. We work in interdisciplinary teams and you will work both independently and together with competent professionals and team colleagues. Work at Habiliteringen is flexible and varied, and you plan your own schedule to a large extent. You have the opportunity to work from a life perspective and provide support to our patients and their networks. The occupational therapist is an important puzzle piece in a team consisting of physiotherapists, special educators, speech-language pathologists, social workers, and psychologists, and daily work is varied. Tasks include assessment of activity and functional ability, interventions based on individually set goals, prescription of various types of assistive devices, guidance to the patient's network, and issuance of certificates, for example for housing adaptations. Work primarily takes place within Habiliteringen's premises but can, when needed, also occur in the patient's immediate environment such as school, home, and day activities. There is an opportunity to perform certain administrative tasks remotely by agreement. Regular working hours are weekdays 8:00-16:30 and flexible agreements apply. About You You are a licensed occupational therapist. We are happy to receive newly graduated colleagues. You base your work on the patient's needs and involve the patient and their network in the work. You work efficiently with others and see teamwork as an asset for your profession. You naturally take responsibility for your own work, have the ability to prioritize tasks, and can quickly adapt to changed circumstances. You plan your schedule independently based on a holistic view of the operation and in collaboration with colleagues. You also have an interest in creating new ways of working together with others and see digital solutions as natural opportunities in your work. To thrive and succeed in this role with us, you also need to be unpretentious both in acquiring knowledge and experiences and in sharing your knowledge and experiences with colleagues. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. Applicants who are current for employment must provide a certificate from the Police Authority's criminal records register before employment.
