About the Operation
We are looking for you as an occupational therapist who wants to work with a solution-focused, creative approach and together with a reliable team in municipal health and care services with a focus on disability services.
You will be part of one of our three teams, based at Bryggaregatan in Borås, and work in a defined geographical area where you meet individuals living in group homes, service housing, or ordinary housing, as well as participants in daily activities.
Job Responsibilities
As an occupational therapist, you work to strengthen individuals' ability to manage their everyday life - this means you work preventively, compensatorily, and always with the individual's needs in focus. You have access to proven methods and structures, but we also know that it takes courage to think new and creatively. Our target group is complex, which means that flexibility, responsiveness, and the ability to think outside the box are important qualities in daily work.
You work closely with a physiotherapist, nurse, nursing assistant, and rehabilitation assistant in an interdisciplinary team where we help each other and complement one another. We place great importance on you enjoying collaboration with others but also having the ability to work independently.
As an extra benefit, we offer you four hours per week that you can freely allocate for remote work, which provides a good balance between structure and freedom.
Qualifications
We are looking for you as a licensed occupational therapist and ideally with experience working with people with disabilities. The most important thing, however, is that you are engaged, curious, and confident in your role, and that you have the desire to contribute to improving daily life for people with different functional variations.
