BUP Open Care has the mission to diagnose and treat psychiatric conditions in children and young people up to 18 years old in all municipalities in the region. Within open care, there are about 70 employees with different competencies - counselor, psychologist, doctor, nurse, occupational therapist, special educator, caregiver, and medical care administrator. We work based on several different theoretical approaches and view positively on broadening our expertise in this area. Work Tasks
The work tasks include assessment and treatment of the child's/young person's functional and activity capacity. For example, it involves working with structure and routines to achieve a functioning everyday life as well as to achieve activity and energy balance. Interventions are provided both individually and in groups, in both physical meetings and digitally. We collaborate with childcare, schools, social services, and other healthcare activities. We actively work to adapt and develop our service. We are looking for a colleague who wants to help develop and contribute to our service.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who are a licensed occupational therapist. It is meritorious if you have experience in child and adolescent psychiatry. Since certain assistive device prescription is part of the work, it is desirable that you have completed prescriber training. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability, and good collaboration skills are very important.

About the Service
Child and Adolescent Psychiatry is part of specialized psychiatric care. The service includes outpatient clinics, enhanced outpatient care, and a care ward with emergency services. A contact center for children and young people with mental health problems is also part of the service with the task of providing advice, conducting assessments, and triaging/sorting to the right level of care. We work with treatment both individually and in groups as well as with both planned and emergency visits and telephone counseling. We also offer psychoeducational treatment interventions for patients and relatives. Together we are around 150 employees working with common processes and goals. We work in multiprofessional teams based on a holistic view of the individual and adapt care interventions to the patient's needs and conditions. We work to promote the child's mental health and development as well as the participation of relatives in care.
