Our work aims to promote: optimal possible function and activity physical and mental well-being participation in community life and equal living conditions Your Workplace Children and Youth Rehabilitation is divided into three units where unit 1 focuses on cognitive functional impairments, unit 2 on movement functional impairments, and the Center for Early Intervention (CTI) which focuses on children aged 0-6 with or suspected autism. This position is located in Unit 1 and is a temporary contract of approximately one year. With us, you will work in interprofessional teams based on a holistic approach to interventions aimed at children/young people with functional impairments. Your Tasks At Children and Youth Rehabilitation, we do work that makes a difference for many children and families. With us, no two days are alike depending on which patients we meet. We work together in teams with different professions around the patient. We also offer services for family members and other networks. As an occupational therapist, you will work with assessments and treatment of patients with various functional impairments/diagnostic groups and rehabilitation needs. Your Knowledge and Competence We are looking for you who are a licensed occupational therapist and who have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written. You work independently but also enjoy teamwork, which is an important part of our operations. Since collaboration is central both within and outside the organization, we value your good collaborative skills. As a person, we see that you are secure, stable, and have the will and ability to help when needed. Since the work can change, it is important that you are flexible and can adapt to the organization's needs. You have a solution-focused approach and treat patients and colleagues in a professional and pleasant manner. The work involves travel as we work throughout Värmland and regularly travel to local offices in the position. This means that a B driving license is a requirement. When traveling for work, there is access to a leasing car. We consider it meritorious if you have previously worked with children and rehabilitation issues, and/or have an interest in development work within your profession.
