The Rehabilitation Unit at Sollefteå Hospital consists of occupational therapists, physiotherapists, social workers, speech-language pathologists, dietitians, and rehabilitation assistants. With us, you will have the opportunity to participate in developing new working methods and routines for a new mobile rehabilitation team. The work group in our unit has a good atmosphere, and you will have several experienced colleagues to discuss with. We are now seeking an occupational therapist for the Occupational Therapy Department in Sollefteå. The position is a permanent, full-time employment with start date by agreement. Work responsibilities Occupational therapists at Sollefteå Hospital work with: Patient care both on inpatient wards and in outpatient activities. Assessment and rehabilitation within day rehabilitation and hand rehabilitation. Interprofessional teamwork with other professional categories. Assessment of cognition and activity capacity in hospitalized patients. Promotion of activity capacity and prescription of assistive devices as compensatory interventions. Rehabilitation of patients of various ages with newly acquired illness or injury. Training and assessment of activity and cognitive capacity. Opportunity to participate in a team for stroke - home rehabilitation. You will also have the opportunity to participate in developing a new home rehabilitation team in line with Nära Vård.
