Sundbyberg Clinic is part of Praktikertjänst and our facilities are located at beautiful Marabou Park, a short walk from the commuter train and light rail. We are 30 colleagues, including 4 occupational therapists, who provide primary care rehabilitation on behalf of Region Stockholm. With a growing patient base, we need to expand our home rehabilitation team to maintain our valued quality in rehabilitating people in their homes. Therefore, we are looking for a new colleague to welcome and introduce to our wonderful home rehabilitation team. At Sundbyberg Clinic, we have two operations managers who maintain close dialogue with our employees. Job Duties
As an occupational therapist in primary care, you will meet a variety of patients of different ages and with different complaints and backgrounds. The position involves home rehabilitation where you as an occupational therapist play an important role in the team around the patient to create safe and quality care. If you enjoy great variety and dynamic work, this is for you. You will work both individually and in teams with physiotherapists and sometimes with a dietitian. You will work with experienced colleagues who are happy to share their experiences when a colleague needs advice and support. You will conduct assessments in the patient's home environment. You will prescribe assistive devices, participate in housing adaptation assessments, contribute to dementia evaluations, and guide people close to the patient, etc.
Qualifications
- Licensed occupational therapist.
- B-class driver's license.
- Experience in primary care and home rehabilitation is a merit.
- Experience with TakeCare patient records system is a merit.
Personal Qualities
You enjoy dynamic work with great variety where you need to be flexible while also structured. You should be able to work both individually and in a team.
