About the Workplace
Praktikertjänst Vård Rehab is part of Praktikertjänst AB and provides primary care rehabilitation at several locations in Västra Götaland. We combine the security of a large company with local commitment and hands-on operations.
Here you will become part of a well-functioning rehab team where occupational therapists and physical therapists collaborate closely around the patient. We also have close collaboration with the health center, where team visits together with nurses and doctors are conducted weekly. Currently, rehab consists of 3 occupational therapists with many years of experience in primary care, plus 7 physical therapists.
We maintain an open work environment where good communication and shared responsibility for the patient's best interests are a given.
The workplace is conveniently located with good connections to Göteborg, which you can reach by bus in 20 minutes.
Responsibilities
As an occupational therapist with us, you work with standard tasks within primary care rehabilitation. This includes assessment, treatment, and follow-up of patients of various ages with varying needs. This can range from working with people with hand problems, stress, mental health issues, pain, cognitive effects, assistive device needs, or home adaptations.
Qualifications
We seek someone who is a licensed occupational therapist, confident in your professional role, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. You have a professional demeanor and contribute to good collaboration. Since mental health is a growing problem in society, we welcome your interest in working within this area and your desire to develop services for this patient group.
Personal Qualities
We seek someone who is attentive, has good communication skills, and can identify individuals' unique needs as you meet many different people. You are flexible, independent, solution-focused, and can plan your work efficiently and in an organized manner according to the operations' goals and the framework of patient choice. It is important that you enjoy variety in your work.
Great importance is placed on personal suitability.
