The Skellefteå local healthcare area includes the Emergency Department, Center for Surgical Operations, Medical and Geriatric Clinic, Rehabilitation Center, Psychiatric Clinic, and primary care in Skellefteå and Norsjö. Together, these should provide good and accessible care. The Psychiatric Clinic has approximately 250 employees. We provide both outpatient and inpatient care as well as psychiatric forced care. We have two general psychiatric wards and one addiction ward. In outpatient care, we include two adult clinics, a clinic for young adults, an addiction clinic, an on-call and assessment unit, and other specialized outpatient units. Within the Psychiatric Clinic there are currently six occupational therapists, two of whom are placed at Outpatient Unit 1. Unit 1 is located externally and centrally in Skellefteå. JOB DUTIES As an occupational therapist with us, you contribute knowledge and commitment that make people feel secure. You enjoy collaborating and being there for other people. In occupational therapy work, interventions are carried out for inpatient and addiction care as well as for our own outpatient unit. Our work is in constant development and requires the ability to adapt the activities' working methods based on the individual's conditions. Supervision is offered continuously. Job duties include mapping and assessment of activity ability in both assessments and treatment. You will conduct occupational therapy interventions, with a focus on everyday functioning, both in individual treatment and in groups. In occupational therapy interventions, instruments from the Swedish Occupational Therapists Association are used, which are available at the workplace. Prescription of cognitive aids and design of individualized cognitive support are common job duties. You will work independently and in close collaboration with other professions and colleagues. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who are a licensed occupational therapist and have an interest in psychiatry. You must speak and write Swedish well. Collaboration skills and flexibility are valuable qualities. As is interest in development work. We place great importance on personal suitability. A driver's license (category B) is a requirement.
