Within the health and medical care administration, primary care, dental care, and hospital care are brought together in a common administration and organized in county and local health care areas. The local health care area of Skellefteå includes the Emergency Department, Center for Surgical Operations, Medical and Geriatric Clinic, Rehabilitation Center, Psychiatric Clinic, and primary care in Skellefteå and Norsjö. Together, these shall provide good and accessible care.
The Psychiatric Clinic has approximately 250 employees. Both outpatient and inpatient care as well as psychiatric compulsory care are conducted here. We have two general psychiatric wards and one addiction ward. Outpatient services include two adult clinics, a clinic for young adults, an addiction clinic, on-call and assessment units, and other specialized outpatient units. Within the Psychiatric Clinic, there are currently six occupational therapists, two of whom are placed at Outpatient Unit 1. Unit 1 is located externally and centrally in Skellefteå.

WORK DUTIES
As an occupational therapist with us, you contribute knowledge and commitment that make people feel secure. You are a present and warm person who, with your expertise and commitment, contributes to a holistic perspective that makes the care process better and safer. You enjoy collaborating and being there for other people.
Occupational therapy work is conducted for inpatient and addiction care as well as for the clinic itself. Our work is in constant development and requires the ability to adapt work methods based on the individual's circumstances. Supervision is offered continuously.
Work duties include mapping and assessing activity capacity in both assessments and treatment. You will conduct occupational therapy interventions, focusing on everyday functioning, both in individual treatment and in groups. Occupational therapy interventions utilize instruments from Sveriges arbetsterapeuter available in the workplace. Prescription of cognitive aids and design of individualized cognitive support are common tasks. You will work independently and in close collaboration with other professions and colleagues.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who are a licensed occupational therapist and have an interest in psychiatry.
You have good command of Swedish, both spoken and written. Collaboration skills and flexibility are valuable qualities. So is interest in development work. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
A valid driver's license is required.
Employment type: Permanent employment.
