The Pulmonary Medicine Clinic provides highly specialized care focused on evaluation, treatment, and follow-up of patients with various lung diseases. The clinic serves patients from both Östergötland and the southeastern healthcare region.
The clinic has broad expertise in pulmonary medicine and is responsible for, among other things, evaluation and treatment of patients with lung cancer. Treatment is provided through chemotherapy and immunotherapy at the clinic's outpatient unit, where the patient is at the center and care is characterized by high quality and continuity.
The clinic also has other specialized units such as a home respiratory care unit and an oxygen therapy unit serving Östergötland. Operations also include follow-up and monitoring of lung transplant patients and care of adult patients with cystic fibrosis. The clinic also has a pulmonary radiology unit and an inpatient ward.
The Pulmonary Medicine Clinic offers comprehensive pulmonary medicine care, from diagnostics through treatment and long-term follow-up.

Job Description
We are now seeking an occupational therapist as our previous therapist has moved on to another position. As a licensed occupational therapist, you will work with rehabilitation in both outpatient and inpatient settings. You'll be part of a team of physical therapists, social workers, and a dietitian, and you'll also collaborate closely with other professionals at the clinic. In the outpatient clinic, you'll primarily work with the pulmonary oncology unit, the specialist unit, the oxygen therapy unit, and the transplant unit.
Inpatient care tasks may include:
ADL assessments
Assessment of mobility capacity together with a physical therapist
Evaluation of home situation
Assessment, fitting, and prescription of assistive devices
Contact with other care services such as the municipality or LAH for additional rehabilitation needs after discharge
In outpatient care, you'll work as part of COPD, Cystic Fibrosis, and Transplant teams, with tasks such as assessing lung transplant recipients' abilities in daily activities and summarizing remaining limitations. You'll also work with lung cancer patients and their rehabilitation.
We offer varied and developmental work where you get the opportunity to combine direct patient care with participation in operations development. We value professional development and will customize your orientation to your needs.
Work Team
You'll become part of the paramedical team consisting of a social worker, physical therapist, and dietitian. You'll also work in teams with physicians, nurses, and nursing assistants.
About You
You are a licensed occupational therapist. It's advantageous to have several years of professional experience as an occupational therapist and experience with the Cosmic medical records system. It's a strength if you have previously worked directly with patients and in multidisciplinary teams.
You are able to understand patients' perspectives and situations. You listen and communicate constructively with patients and colleagues. You have good teamwork abilities and enjoy working in teams while also being able to work independently and make your own decisions.
We're looking for someone who is confident in their professional role and has a professional and empathetic approach. You work in a structured manner and can plan, prioritize, and reprioritize in a changing environment.
