About Us Humana Björnö in Norrtälje opened in September 2021. Björnö is a residential facility with a total of 60 places, specializing in dementia and somatic care, also for individuals under 65 years old. Job Description As an occupational therapist at Humana Björnö, you have an important role in assessing and meeting the individual care and rehabilitation needs of our residents. You assess, plan, and implement individually tailored interventions to maintain and develop each resident's physical, cognitive, and social abilities, with the goal of strengthening independence and quality of life. You mentor and educate nursing staff within the profession, manage documentation and incidents, and collaborate closely with nurses and physiotherapists. Examples of Work Tasks Assess residents' functional and activity capacity, for example through ADL and MMSE assessments Plan, implement, and evaluate individually tailored rehabilitation interventions Test and prescribe assistive devices, such as lifts, wheelchairs, and hygiene aids Adapt the residential environment and provide support in daily activities Mentor and develop the competence of nursing staff within the profession Manage and follow up on documentation and incidents Who Are You? For this position, you must be a licensed occupational therapist, preferably with experience from elderly care. As a person, you are unpretentious, solution-oriented, organized, and responsible. You have a positive outlook and thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. To succeed in this role, we would like you to have a talent for building relationships and good collaboration skills, and be willing to work closely and as a team with nursing assistants and paramedics. We are Looking for You If You: Are a licensed occupational therapist Possess good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written Have knowledge of documenting in journal systems (ICF or VIPS) It Is an Advantage If You Have: Experience working with people with dementia Experience working in elderly care or home care services Experience with documentation work, for example in Wealfare Experience in privately operated services About the Employment Employment Form: Permanent, with a six-month probationary period Working Hours and Degree: Daytime work Monday to Friday, degree of employment by agreement Salary: Individual salary setting, other compensation according to collective agreement Start Date: By agreement What Do You Get?
