Our Offer
Rehab öst is one of four rehabilitation organizations within primary health care in Region Östergötland.
Our collective mission is to provide the people of Östergötland equivalent rehabilitation regardless of where in the region they live. Rehab öst works with five main areas: inpatient care/specialized outpatient care, neurorehabilitation, primary care, and pediatric speech therapy. Within Rehab öst, approximately 100 people work in total.
The Rehab öst inpatient unit at Vrinnevisjukhuset works with the medical clinic, cardiology clinic, infectious diseases clinic, and geriatric clinic wards. The unit consists of approximately 17 employees divided among occupational therapists, physical therapists, and a care unit manager.

Job Description
We are looking for you to be one of us and work toward the rehab mission on the ward at Vrinnevisjukhuset in Norrköping. Currently, the need is for ward 3, a medical acute care unit. On the ward, we often meet very ill people of all ages with various types of medical illnesses, including lung and kidney conditions. Common tasks include assessments, rehabilitation/mobilization, and prescription of assistive devices for inpatients.
As an occupational therapist, you are, together with the physical therapist, an important link in ensuring safe discharges for patients. Work in inpatient care requires both independent work and close collaboration with other professions on the ward, where communication and holistic perspective are key points. With us, you are part of a group that collectively is responsible for all absence coverage within the group and, if needed, covers shifts on other wards within our mission. The role also includes supervising students and, if needed, teaching other care staff.
About You
We are looking for you who are a licensed occupational therapist. You have an interest and preferably experience in inpatient care or similar work within our diagnostic groups.
As a person, you are confident in yourself and your profession and contribute positively to the team. You are stimulated by and have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team on multiple different diagnoses and assignments. You can prioritize and adapt to the needs of the operation for the day and are perceived as clear and smooth in communication both verbally and in writing. We would like to see you bring new ideas, take initiative, and drive development work together with colleagues and come to us with fresh perspectives. Great importance will be placed on whether you are perceived as the right person for the group.
