Psychiatric Clinic Södra Lappland is a specialist psychiatric outpatient clinic for adults. We are responsible for patients over 18 years old who need specialist psychiatric care and treatment. The clinic employs approximately 45 staff members from various professions working in interdisciplinary teams. We are primarily located in Lycksele but have staff and operations at several locations in southern Lapland. Digital working methods are a natural part of our daily work, and a large portion of our patient meetings take place digitally. We offer a workplace with short decision-making paths, close collaboration between professions, and great opportunities to influence and develop the operations. As an occupational therapist with us, you will have access to supervision in occupational therapy and opportunities for continuous professional development in an interdisciplinary setting. You will join an established occupational therapy group with three experienced occupational therapy colleagues, which provides excellent conditions for onboarding, experience sharing, and professional support in your daily work. JOB DUTIES As an occupational therapist with us, you will assess, treat, and follow up patients with mental health issues and psychiatric functional limitations. In this role, you will map the patient's activity capacity, daily functioning, and support needs to create conditions for recovery, participation, and increased independence in everyday life. You will plan and carry out occupational therapy interventions based on the patient's individual needs and contribute your expertise in assessments, care planning, and rehabilitation. The work takes place in close collaboration with other professions in the clinic's interdisciplinary team and also includes cooperation with other healthcare and community actors. You will have the opportunity to work both independently and together with colleagues in an operation where development, evidence-based methods, and person-centered care are in focus. Travel within southern Lapland is part of the position. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who are a licensed occupational therapist and have an interest in psychiatry. It is a merit if you have experience working in psychiatry, rehabilitation, or functional assessments. You enjoy working both independently and with others, have good collaboration skills, and a person-centered approach. We also value flexibility, initiative, and interest in operational development. The position requires good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing as well as a category B driver's license. Employment type: Permanent position.
