Common conditions you will encounter as an occupational therapist include: reduced hand function, pain, neurology, cognitive impairment, and mental health issues. The work also includes prescribing assistive devices and issuing certificates for home modifications. Together with the patient, a personalized rehabilitation plan is developed. The work is conducted at the clinic, digitally, and through home visits. Patient treatment takes place both individually and in groups. The work involves close collaboration with other professionals, both at the clinic and with other partner organizations. You and your colleagues share responsibility with the manager for developing the operation through continuous improvement work. About You You are a licensed occupational therapist. Previous experience in the profession and primary healthcare is a merit, but we also welcome newly graduated therapists. If you have instructor training and/or further/supplementary education, that is also a merit. We are looking for someone who is attentive, has good communication skills, and can identify individuals' unique needs as you meet many different people. You can plan your work efficiently and in an organized manner based on the operation's goals. Since workload varies and unexpected events can occur, we see that you are flexible and independent.
