We are seeking an occupational therapist for the rehabilitation unit at the hospital with placement on two care wards: A geriatric ward with five beds, focused on rehabilitation, and a surgical ward with approximately 24 beds. The geriatric ward specializes in patients over 65 years of age who need geriatric care or continued rehabilitation. We work in teams on the ward. On the surgical ward, you will meet patients who have undergone surgical examinations or operations as well as traumatic injuries.

Your Tasks
Common work tasks include initial assessments, ADL assessments, cognitive assessments, and assessment/prescription of assistive devices. You will work closely with a physical therapist and other team members. You will also have contact with benefits caseworkers, the assistive devices center, the home healthcare rehabilitation team, and outpatient care.
Who Are You?
You are a licensed occupational therapist. Experience in inpatient care is a merit. Experience in geriatrics and surgery is especially meritorious.
You are curious, independent, and responsible. You want to develop in your professional role and actively participate in the development of the operation. You appreciate being part of a team and working closely with colleagues.
The work requires your ability to plan and prioritize your tasks even in situations where you need to quickly adapt. You communicate well and are clear in both your communication and your approach.
