Within the care administration's rehabilitation unit, 25 occupational therapists and physical therapists work together with 6 rehabilitation assistants. The rehabilitation unit is led by two unit managers and staff are based at three locations in central Hässleholm and in Tyringe. Our overall mission serves twelve different areas in Hässleholm municipality. The assignments are divided between regular housing and special housing as well as LSS.

As an occupational therapist with us, you work with assessment of activity capacity, treatment, and training. The work also involves prescribing assistive devices and providing guidance to care personnel from an occupational therapy perspective. In your daily work you will have dialogue with various professions within the municipality as well as with, among others, Region Skåne regarding care planning via My Plans. The team meets together at workplace meetings, and in addition we also have professional meetings where we meet within our respective professional groups to develop ourselves and the organization.

Who are you?
We're looking for someone who is a licensed occupational therapist with strong collaboration and problem-solving skills. As a person, you view life positively and enjoy contributing and working together across professional boundaries. You are solution-focused and have great respect for the individual and enjoy helping others. You should be able to work in a team while also feeling great responsibility for your own contribution and for our patients. It is meritorious if you have experience with similar work. You also need good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as good computer skills.

About us
Within the care administration, we provide care, support, and assistance to people who are elderly, have a disability, or who need home health care. We also offer health promotion initiatives and support to people who care for and support a close relative. Our goal is for those who need care and assistance in their daily lives to be able to live as independently as possible.
The Health and Medical Care Department is responsible for home care and rehabilitation services. Services are provided by nurses, nursing assistants, rehabilitation assistants, occupational therapists, and physical therapists, who also delegate from their professional perspective to care staff in other operational areas.
