The Role of Occupational Therapist
As an occupational therapist with us, you'll be part of the Rehabilitation Unit at Huskvarna Primary Care Center and become part of our pleasant team of approximately 15 people. As an occupational therapist, you'll work on typical reception tasks such as hand rehabilitation, pain and stress management, activity assessments/treatments, and cognitive evaluations as part of a team. Treatments are provided in the form of individual patient meetings as well as group sessions.
The position requires you to take your own initiative and be able to plan and carry out your work independently. At the same time, you need to collaborate well with your colleagues and maintain good communication with everyone you meet in your role. You need to be flexible to easily adapt to changing circumstances.
The position is permanent full-time with start date by agreement; employment level can be discussed.
Your Future Workplace
The Rehabilitation Unit in Huskvarna works together with the Primary Care Centers Bra Liv Kungshälsan, Rosenhälsan, and Tenhult. Together these units have 27,500 registered patients. At our unit you'll have many colleagues in rehabilitation and collaborate with other staff at the primary care centers. For us, it's important that together with shared expertise we help our patients, and we often seek support and help from each other.
We are part of Primary Care Centers Bra Liv, primary healthcare operated by the region in Jönköping County and consisting of 31 primary care centers, close to our patients throughout the county. We constantly work to achieve satisfied patients and we all participate in improvement efforts. Together we provide care with compassion, wholeness, and quality in focus.
Your Profile
We're looking for you who are a licensed occupational therapist and want varied work.
Meritorious qualifications include experience in primary healthcare and/or basic training in hand rehabilitation, as well as experience working with activity structure and activity balance, training in pain/stress management, and/or experience with memory evaluation.
Great weight will be placed on personal suitability.
