We are looking for an experienced occupational health and safety specialist who wants to contribute to advancing occupational health and safety work in AF Gruppen Sverige's operations. You will have a broad role with close contact with our subsidiaries and will provide qualified support to managers and operations within construction and civil engineering. As an occupational health and safety specialist, you will become part of AF Gruppen Sverige and work across our Swedish subsidiaries, while also collaborating with colleagues and specialist environments within the rest of the corporation. About the Role As an occupational health and safety specialist, you will support our Swedish subsidiaries in their occupational health and safety work and contribute to developing common approaches, processes, and tools. You will serve as an advisor to managers and operations, identify areas for improvement, and help translate requirements, experiences, and knowledge into concrete improvements. The role spans multiple companies and different areas of construction and civil engineering operations. This means great variety and many points of contact – from support in operations to development matters at Swedish and Nordic corporation level. You will, among other things: - provide qualified support to our subsidiaries and their managers on occupational health and safety matters - contribute to the development of systematic occupational health and safety work - support operations in risk assessments and incident and accident investigations - identify areas for improvement and contribute to common approaches, processes, and tools - drive and participate in development and improvement initiatives within HSE - collaborate with specialists and other support functions within AF Gruppen in Sweden and Norway We are Looking for You You have several years of experience in qualified occupational health and safety work within construction and civil engineering operations and a good understanding of the risks and conditions that exist in production. We would like to see that you have: - relevant higher education in occupational health and safety, occupational health and safety engineering, construction, engineering, or civil engineering, or equivalent experience - good knowledge of occupational health and safety legislation and the regulations of the Swedish Work Environment Authority - solid experience with systematic occupational health and safety work (SAM) - experience with risk assessments, safety rounds, and incident and accident investigations - good understanding of the occupational health and safety risks associated with construction and civil engineering operations - experience working with contractors and subcontractors and understanding of the division of responsibility between different parties - ability to provide qualified support to site managers, work supervisors, project managers, and other managers - ability to communicate occupational health and safety requirements and complex matters clearly and pedagogically, both to management and managers as well as on the work site You are confident in working both close to operations and together with managers and other specialists. The role involves travel within Sweden and, if needed, to AF Gruppen's headquarters in Oslo. You need to be fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written.
