Peab Construction, region East, is now seeking an additional solution-focused and driven occupational health and safety coordinator to work with our projects in the Stockholm and Uppsala regions. About the role The position involves being able to focus on both regional and project-related matters. This could include: · Providing support in systematic occupational health and safety work to create a safe and healthy work environment in our projects (e.g., by assisting with risk assessments, incident reporting, etc.) · Assisting as a specialist and support in projects during inspections by authorities · Conducting project rounds and internal audits · Interpreting and communicating news and information in the field from the business area · Contributing to improving, developing and maintaining our occupational health and safety management system · Preparing reports and presenting information to regional management within the occupational health and safety area · Assisting and leading investigations of incidents and work accidents · Analyzing trends in the region within the occupational health and safety area and writing texts about this to be presented to the business area · Responsible for and coordinating safety representative meetings Your main area of responsibility will involve systematic improvement work of our occupational health and safety efforts. You are also expected, upon request, to be able to represent the region at the group and business area level regarding occupational health and safety matters, and to participate and drive occupational health and safety issues in collaboration with HR, quality and environmental functions. The role also includes contributing knowledge about occupational health and safety legislation and solving occupational health and safety problems by proposing adequate solutions, as well as assisting with external contacts with customers, authorities, industry organizations, suppliers and study visits. You will be based at our office in Solna and have Stockholm/Uppsala with surrounding municipalities as your work area. A driver's license is a requirement as travel to our projects is part of the role. Your profile We are looking for someone with a university degree in occupational health and safety or equivalent competence in the field, as well as several years of experience in systematic and operational occupational health and safety work. It is an advantage if you have previously worked in the construction industry. As a person, you are analytical, enthusiastic, structured and have the ability to see the bigger picture. You have a strong interest in occupational health and safety matters and a focus on developing safe and healthy work environments. You seek anchoring and collaboration to bring the organization along, but are at the same time action-oriented and driven independently. You are experienced in using the Office package and your ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish is very good. Furthermore, it is advantageous if you have knowledge/experience of the MTO investigation methodology.
