Your responsibilities We're seeking a dedicated employment consultant for the Employment Unit in Leksand Municipality. You'll be part of our team of employment consultants and will work both with the unit's regular assignments and with the FINSAM project Rehabilitation & Work (RoA). As an employment consultant, you work to support people on their path toward employment or studies. Through individual conversations, guidance, and close collaboration with employers and authorities, you help participants take steps toward self-sufficiency. Part of the position is directed toward the FINSAM project Rehabilitation & Work (RoA), a successful collaboration project conducted since spring 2021. The project serves individuals with mental health challenges who are far from the job market. The goal is to create meaningful activities together with participants and gradually strengthen the conditions for employment or studies. You'll become part of an experienced and dedicated team where you support each other, share knowledge, and develop the organization together. This is a permanent full-time position with a 6-month probationary period. The responsible manager for this position is the Unit Manager for the Employment Unit. In this role, you'll work for both Leksand and Rättvik municipalities. Your profile You have appropriate higher education, such as occupational therapist, vocational guidance counselor, social worker, or behavioral scientist, or training/experience that the employer deems relevant for the role. We appreciate if you have some form of conversation training. Supported employment, MI, or similar training is a merit. We're looking for someone with experience in similar roles, preferably with a focus on rehabilitation. In the employment consultant role, it's beneficial if you have knowledge of how the job market works, solution-focused approaches, NPF diagnoses and/or substance abuse issues. You need to be able to express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish and have good computer skills. The role involves work-related travel, such as company visits, which requires a B driving license. To thrive in the employment consultant role, you need a genuine interest in other people, an ability to build relationships and collaborate with others. You're self-directed and take initiative with a focus on results and organizational goals. You easily take on challenges and can prioritize and structure your work to solve the issues you face.
