JOB DUTIES
We are looking for employment services officers who work with unemployed individuals aged 16-65 years who need support to enter the labor market or begin or return to education.
You implement flexibly designed support measures for groups and individuals to strengthen the individual's opportunities in the labor market. This means complementing, strengthening, and connecting existing measures and offering support that builds motivation, ability, and resilience. You create knowledge about and understanding of opportunities, requirements, and conditions generally in the labor market, and also specific to certain industries. You implement measures to strengthen Swedish language skills in work situations. You plan, adapt, and conduct these training sessions together with colleagues.
You receive and assess the needs of individuals referred to the employment services unit and propose measures, offer positions for practical work at the unit or in collaboration with other operations. You support, motivate, and follow up on measures at respective workplaces, document, and report back to the referrer, who is often social services or the employment agency.
You stay informed about employers' recruitment needs and create contacts to support participants in their job search. In operational work, you cooperate closely with colleagues in social services, the employment agency, and various educational forms.
The position has flexible content and involves participation in all other work at the unit as needed and when support measures change.
QUALIFICATIONS
You have post-secondary education equivalent to at least two years of full-time studies in an area that the employer considers adequate for the assignment. You have experience working with a target group outside the labor market.
You have knowledge of how Swedish education and the labor market function, and you have good knowledge of Swedish. You can express yourself very well both verbally and in writing, as this is required in daily work.
You work well with other people and adapt to find win-win solutions through a pragmatic focus on the common goal. You do your best by doing what you can right now. You quickly find solutions to problems that arise. You have a good understanding of how people acquire knowledge and of people's different circumstances. You adapt the way you communicate your message to the recipient. You see opportunities in changes and can also change your perspective and approach based on changed requirements, conditions, or circumstances.
