In connection with the introduction of activity requirements for persons receiving financial assistance, we are now strengthening our operations and seeking an employment coach with a special focus on language-promoting initiatives. We're looking for someone who is passionate about strengthening people's opportunities for work and studies through language, participation, and practical learning. You understand how language, culture, and working life are connected and can turn that knowledge into action. This position is a fixed-term employment of approximately six months with the possibility of extension based on the needs and development of the activities. 1 position(s). JOB DUTIES As an employment coach, you work closely with participants who are far from the labor market and need support to move toward work or studies. Your mission is to create conditions for development through language training, guidance, and work-related activities. In this position, you will, among other things: • Plan and carry out language-promoting activities both individually and in groups. • Lead group activities and teaching-like initiatives for approximately 30 hours per week. • Meet participants in different environments, for example in classrooms, in individual conversations, and at workplaces. • Document initiatives and participants' progress in activity systems. • Ensure that documentation for follow-up and decisions within financial assistance is available. • Plan and conduct study visits. • Collaborate with colleagues, employers, and other professionals to create the best possible conditions for participants. • Contribute to the development of the unit's work and support colleagues when needed QUALIFICATIONS We're looking for someone who has: • Post-secondary education or work experience that the employer deems equivalent. • Experience in leading groups and conducting individual conversations. • Experience in coaching, guiding, or support work. • Good ability to document and communicate in Swedish. • A genuine interest in language-promoting work and people's development. It is meriting if you have: • Knowledge of additional languages besides Swedish. • Experience from municipal employment activities. • Experience working with persons receiving financial assistance. • Experience working with people with limited educational background or limited knowledge of Swedish. • Experience in collaboration with various authorities and actors. You are confident in leading groups and have the ability to motivate people with different backgrounds and circumstances. You thrive in an activity undergoing development and see opportunities where others see obstacles. Great weight is placed on personal suitability. Employment form: Fixed-term employment. Duration: Start date: 2026-10-01 As soon as possible or by agreement, End date: 2027-04-30. There is an opportunity to combine the work with being a part-time firefighter. Assessment will be made based on the needs of the activities.
