The Education and Employment Administration's mission is to increase individuals' opportunities to find work and become self-sufficient through education, internships, and employment. Your Responsibilities As a coach, you will work with your colleagues to plan, lead, and develop group-based initiatives for participants. The work is based on participants' different needs and circumstances, where you adapt content, methods, and structure to create favorable conditions for learning, motivation, and development. The group activities you lead focus on education, employment, and the path toward self-sufficiency. Through motivating and coaching methods, you support participants in their development and help strengthen their opportunities to move toward work or studies. The work uses the BIP/Create and MI (Motivational Interviewing) methods. Together with the rest of the work team, you collaborate with employers to secure internships that lead to employment and provide support during this transition. What We're Looking For You have relevant education in behavioral science or other education deemed relevant, and it is desirable that you have knowledge of employment issues, social services legislation, and experience collaborating with the Swedish Public Employment Service, the Swedish Social Insurance Agency, and healthcare. Experience working with participants who are particularly far from the job market, as well as experience planning, leading, and implementing group activities and knowledge of health and wellness work, are merits. You are skilled at collaboration and find it easy to adapt your communication style to your audience so that expectations become clear to all involved parties. You are organized and communicative, with the ability to create motivation, engagement, and support individuals in driving their own employment process forward. You have a strong ability to make visible, affirm, and give individuals—regardless of background and circumstances—opportunities to participate in working life. The position also requires strong Swedish language skills and the ability to express yourself well in both speech and writing, as documentation is required. A driver's license is required as the work will involve significant time outside the office. Personal suitability is weighted heavily.
