Do you want to work closely with people and support them on their path toward employment, studies, and financial independence?
We at the labor market unit are now looking to strengthen our team due to the activity requirement that came into effect on July 1, 2026. This means that more individuals will need to participate in structured, customized, and employment-focused interventions. As an employment counselor, you play a central role in translating this requirement into meaningful activities that strengthen individuals' paths toward employment and financial independence.
What can we offer you?
As an employment counselor, you work from a holistic perspective on the individual and implement interventions aimed at strengthening the individual's resources and opportunities for employment or studies.
The target group is often far from the labor market and can have complex issues, often with multifaceted needs related to mental health, social vulnerability, and the need for collaboration between multiple actors. The work is practical, relationship-building, and takes place in close contact with participants.
Your responsibilities include:
Taking responsibility for one of AME's internal interventions where you work together with participants to map abilities, resources, and conditions for approaching the labor market
Working as a coach with individuals and groups
Conducting assessments, guidance, and motivational conversations
Continuously documenting, establishing, and following up on individual plans
What are we looking for in you?
To succeed in this role, we hope you have:
A university degree in behavioral science or another education that the employer deems equivalent
A B-category driver's license (manual transmission)
Experience working with this target group, preferably within the labor market field
Training or experience in conversation methodology
Good digital skills and experience working in various systems
You approach people with respect, trust, and commitment. You have a strong belief in individuals' ability to develop and thrive in work that requires physical presence, relationship-building, and flexibility. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
