We are looking for two maintenance supervisors who enjoy being close to operations and who want to combine supervision with practical maintenance work. The position involves planning and implementing both corrective and preventive maintenance, where you work with the team to achieve high availability and operational reliability. About the Role As Maintenance Operations Supervisor Mechanics, you are responsible for planning, prioritizing, and coordinating maintenance efforts within the mechanical field. Together with other supervisors, you ensure that fault reports and work orders are handled efficiently and that the right resources are available to perform the work safely, with quality, and cost-effectively. The role involves no direct personnel management responsibility, but you have a central function in leading, coordinating, and allocating resources based on operational needs. Your tasks: Manage incoming fault reports and prepare, plan, prioritize, and distribute them to internal and external resources Participate in the on-call organization and contribute to planning of on-call work. Follow up and analyze completed maintenance efforts and initiate improvement measures and maintenance plans as needed, and ensure that work is reported and followed up. Ensure that contractors fulfill applicable agreements, requirements, and safety regulations. Plan and allocate resources for maintenance measures ahead of maintenance shutdowns in collaboration with shutdown managers. As a working supervisor, you also actively participate in daily maintenance work and perform preventive and corrective maintenance measures yourself. Requirements We would like you to have: Technical education in mechanics, or equivalent work experience. Several years of experience with mechanical maintenance in process industry, energy, power, or manufacturing industry. Experience working with maintenance management systems. Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. Driver's license category B. Meritorious Experience in supervision, work preparation, or maintenance planning. Experience with SAP PM. Experience managing contractors. Personal Qualities We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in technology, maintenance, and problem-solving. You have good mechanical competence and an understanding of the technical challenges that exist in a modern maintenance organization. You are organized, take responsibility, are solution-oriented, and safety-conscious, with a good ability to plan, prioritize, and coordinate work. You thrive in an operation where multiple activities are happening in parallel and work well with colleagues, contractors, and other functions. To succeed in this role, you have the ability to create structure, drive work forward, and make well-informed decisions based on both technical and operational needs. Previous management experience is not required, but you are comfortable taking initiative, coordinating work, and creating engagement in your surroundings.
