We are now seeking a driven site supervisor who wants to be part of building our upcoming project in Gothenburg. We continue to grow, and in early 2027, we will take over responsibility for waste collection in southwest Gothenburg, with Gothenburg City - Kretslopp och vatten as our client and collaboration partner. Therefore, we are now seeking a Site Supervisor who wants to have a key role in building up the department ahead of contract start, and thereafter be responsible for daily operations and operational activities, which will be based at our new depot in Kållered. About the Position As a site supervisor with us, you have overall responsibility for planning and organizing the operational activities of the department. This means you lead and allocate daily work for our approximately 30 environmental workers/drivers and 20 vehicles operating in the department. You monitor and ensure that work is performed according to applicable procedures, safety regulations, and our clients' requirements. You play a key role in communication and collaboration, both with employees and with our clients. You report to the Production Manager and work closely with your two site supervisor colleagues. Your main areas of responsibility as site supervisor are: Leading and planning work for staff Administration in Verdis' and the client's operational systems Communication with clients and customers Handling and follow-up of occupational health and safety matters Ensuring that the vehicle fleet is managed correctly Coordination with workshops regarding service and repairs of vehicles About You To succeed and thrive in this position, we believe you have a strong ambition and a willingness to independently drive various types of matters and issues. You need to have good computer and system skills and administrative ability, as large parts of the position involve administration in various operational and quality systems. Furthermore, it is important that you are stress-resistant and can handle periods of high workload as well as unforeseen events efficiently. To be qualified for the position, you need to have at least two years of leadership experience from the transportation industry or a related industry. A B-class driving license is required, a C-class driving license is meriting. We also highly value your personal qualities in connection with this recruitment process. Other Start Date: January 2027.
