We are now seeking an Operations Manager in maintenance and operations for our establishment in Uddevalla for a fixed-term position of approximately 12 months, as we see increased demand within our contracts in the region. As an Operations Manager with us, you will work broadly within maintenance and operations with a focus on planning, leading, and following up on work in our contracts. In this role, you will work closely with several of our site managers in the region. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with skilled workers and subcontractors, where you play a central role in ensuring our projects are executed safely, efficiently, and with high quality.
Your assignment as Operations Manager
In this role, you are responsible for planning production based on orders, coordinating resources, and ensuring that work meets established goals regarding time, cost, and quality. Examples of focus areas you will work with include installation and replacement of road equipment. You are involved in the entire process – from work preparation and startup to follow-up, analysis, and improvement work.
You also serve as an important link in dialogue with the customer, where you ensure the contract is followed and handle any deviations.
Examples of your responsibilities:
• Plan, lead, and follow up on work within maintenance and operations
• Work with work preparations, scheduling, and resource booking
• Coordinate skilled workers and subcontractors in daily operations
• Follow up on production, finances, and capacity, and identify deviations
• Ensure a good working environment and high safety focus in all activities
You will also be an important part of our work with winter and accessibility readiness, where planning, follow-up, and dialogue with the client are central.
Who are you?
To succeed in this role, you have:
• Relevant post-secondary education or more than 2 years of experience in road maintenance
• Ability to plan, structure, and follow up on work in an operation with multiple concurrent assignments
• Good computer skills and interest in digital working methods
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Category B driver's license
It is an advantage if you have:
• Experience in a management role
• Experience from maintenance, operations, or winter road maintenance
• Experience with production follow-up, finances, or analysis work
