Now Svensk Markservice Svealand is establishing a new area in Västerås. As a work supervisor, you will have a key role in the startup and ongoing development of the operation.
Job Responsibilities
As a work supervisor, you are responsible for the daily operations of the contract and ensure that work is performed according to the agreement, quality requirements, and client expectations. The role involves close leadership where you plan and follow up on work while being present in the field and working alongside the team when needed.
You will be an important contact person for the client and are responsible for building trust, following up on deviations, and identifying opportunities for additional work and upselling. The operation will initially consist of a small team that will gradually be expanded as the contract grows.
During the winter season, you will participate in on-call operations where you, along with other resources, are responsible for snow removal and anti-icing measures.
• Plan, lead, and follow up on the daily operations of the contract
• Coordinate and supervise permanent staff as well as seasonal employees
• Ensure quality, self-inspections, and handling of deviations
• Manage client dialogue and ongoing contact with the client
• Participate in practical fieldwork as well as winter maintenance, snow removal, and on-call operations
Education, Experience, and Personal Qualities
• At least two years of experience as a work supervisor within grounds maintenance contracts in residential or park environments
• At least one year of practical experience within grounds maintenance or similar operations
• Valid vocational certificate 1 from TCYK or equivalent education
• Experience leading and coordinating field personnel
• Experience operating small machines and wheel loaders
• Good knowledge of Swedish, spoken and written
• Valid driver's license (Category B)
• Ability to provide references from two previous assignments
