Rekal Svenska AB is now seeking a production supervisor for its manufacturing facility in Gnesta. This is a key role for someone who thrives close to operations, wants to lead daily work, and contribute to structure, improvements, and stability in production. You will be the production manager's right hand and play a central role in ensuring that production runs efficiently, safely, and according to plan. About the Position This is a direct hire position, which means the recruitment process is conducted through Bravura and you will be employed directly by Rekal Svenska AB. At their manufacturing facility in Gnesta, the team continuously develops and manufactures innovative products carefully adapted for the Nordic market and its high demands for hygiene and quality. At the own production facility in Gnesta, both liquid and powder products are manufactured and supplied to customers in Sweden and several other European countries. Production is characterized by clear processes, high quality standards, and a commitment to continuously improving work methods, safety, and efficiency. As a production supervisor, you will become part of the production organization where you play a central role in daily operations and serve as an important link between planning, production, and improvement efforts. You will work closely with a production team of approximately eight employees, which means short decision-making paths, close collaboration, and good opportunities to influence daily work. Responsibilities As a production supervisor, you are responsible for leading and coordinating daily work in production. The role is varied, combining supervision, planning, follow-up, and improvement work with hands-on and present leadership in the facility. An important part of the assignment is creating structure and ensuring that planning works in practice. You monitor production, plan daily work with the team, and ensure that production lines have the right conditions to deliver according to schedule. The role is hands-on and you work close to production. You serve as support for operators and are available to quickly handle deviations, reprioritize when conditions change, and keep production running as efficiently as possible. When needed, you support operators practically in daily work, such as during machine changeovers, unexpected shutdowns, or when production needs extra resources to maintain pace. To succeed in this role, you need to both enjoy supervision and be comfortable with being actively involved in operational work yourself. You will also work with production data follow-up, maintenance planning, and LEAN and improvement efforts. An important part of the role is also working in the facility's various systems. You monitor inventory levels and production planning, compile key metrics related to production results and downtime, and ensure that work instructions are kept up-to-date and reflect operational practices. The role involves many internal contact points, including with warehouse, procurement, and technical functions. Examples of responsibilities: Plan, prioritize, and monitor daily production Lead and allocate work for production staff Monitor production results, inventory levels, and key metrics, and work in the company's production and warehouse management systems Work with LEAN, 5S, and continuous improvements Support production operationally by addressing unplanned shutdowns, assisting with machine changeovers, and supporting operators as needed Coordinate basic maintenance efforts and serve as contact person with technical functions and suppliers Education, Experience, and Personal Qualities Requirements Experience from manufacturing industry in a supervisory or coordinating role Experience with workforce supervision, team leadership, or similar responsibility in production Good understanding of LEAN, 5S, or structured improvement work Good system proficiency and experience working in business, warehouse, or production systems Fluent Swedish, both spoken and written Meritorious Experience from process industry, chemical industry, or similar production environment Experience with production planning, follow-up, or production management Experience with maintenance systems Forklift certification A and B Experience with root cause analysis and deviation management To succeed in this role, we believe you are someone who creates structure and clarity in everyday work.
