JOB DUTIES
In your role as work supervisor, you are a representative of Karlskrona Municipality and a clear role model in daily work. You are responsible for leading, planning and distributing work within your area of responsibility in a way that promotes engagement, participation and a good working environment.
The work focuses on operation, maintenance and upkeep of the municipality's parks, green areas and forest areas. Your knowledge and experience in the green sector as well as understanding of nature values are an important foundation for the assignment.
As a work supervisor, you are responsible for, among other things:
Daily operations and planning as well as monitoring of activities
Personnel responsibility and work environment work
Budget and financial monitoring
Administration and documentation related to the operations
You also participate in the management's emergency organization.
QUALIFICATIONS
Category B driver's license
Good computer skills and experience working with Microsoft Office
Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
We are looking for you who have relevant education for the position
At least two years of vocational education with a focus on gardening/horticulture or other education/experience that the employer considers equivalent.
Experience with personnel matters, administration and financial management
You have documented experience working as a leader or manager and have good experience in leading, distributing and following up work. If you also have a leadership training, we will also consider that as meritorious.

Green certificate
Experience with emergency work, both winter and summer periods
Experience in developing, implementing and following up maintenance plans
Interest in and experience of evaluating and developing working methods
Good machinery knowledge, to have the ability to identify how machinery use can streamline work and improve results
