About the Project Manager Role As a project manager at NCC, you have an important and central role in production. You are responsible for leading and preparing work within your assigned area of responsibility and involving relevant employees and subcontractors. You work closely with the site manager but also have a team of skilled workers and specialists to support you. The role also includes: Ensuring that safety and security regulations are followed and that all employees are aware of applicable rules and laws Procuring and requesting resources for assigned tasks in consultation with the site manager Taking responsibility for results within your assigned area in accordance with the site manager In your role as project manager, you have the opportunity to use and develop your leadership skills in daily work, where you are responsible for leading both subcontractors and skilled workers. A central part of your assignment is to create engagement and participation in the team – you coach and motivate your colleagues so that together we can leverage our collective expertise and achieve successful project results. Your Profile as Project Manager We are looking for someone with at least 3 years or more of experience as a project manager in construction production and relevant education in construction and civil engineering from a vocational or university college. As a person, you are structured, solution-oriented, and have strong communication skills. You are confident in your leadership role and have the ability to create engagement and participation in the project organization. You work proactively to ensure efficient collaboration and have a natural ability to build long-term and trustworthy relationships – both internally with colleagues and externally with subcontractors. Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written Valid driver's license (Category B) is required Desirable qualifications: Experience from large industrial projects Experience with concrete and ground work Experience from complex production environments with high safety requirements Certifications such as Concrete Class 1 or 2 Personal Qualities To succeed in this role, you are a confident and experienced leader with a strong ability to create structure, drive production, and make decisions. You have strong communication skills and can build trust both internally and externally. You are solution-oriented, take responsibility, and have the ability to work strategically while maintaining operational control over production. Work Location We expect 100% presence in Luleå, a prerequisite for succeeding in the role. However, it is possible to take on this role even if you live elsewhere. NCC arranges travel and accommodation, and 100% physical presence can be Monday-Thursday or alternatively Tuesday-Friday.
