Job Description We are seeking a driven and independent production supervisor for our facility in Västerås. This role involves significant personal responsibility with an emphasis on freedom within accountability, where you are expected to act decisively and make your own decisions in day-to-day operations. You will be a central link in our operations, working in close dialogue with the production planner, maintenance manager, and production manager. The operation is characterized by a fast pace and constant, rapid changes. This is a role for someone who is motivated by short decision-making paths and who can maintain calm under pressure while juggling multiple priorities simultaneously. About the Role Carbomax has approximately 40 employees in total. At the Västerås facility, we work pragmatically and help each other where needed—it's a day filled with challenges. Your main responsibilities include leading daily operations and distributing work, while also carrying clear administrative and strategic responsibilities. Your role includes: Leading and coordinating production personnel with support from shift supervisors. Ensuring efficiency and quality in the production process. Responsibility for workplace environment and safety inspections, and ensuring all environmental aspects comply with laws and regulations. Responsible for material storage in the most optimal and efficient manner possible. Producing according to production schedule. Continuously driving continuous improvement work. Tracking and implementing production-based key performance indicators. Employee and salary discussions. Maintaining close dialogue and collaboration with the production planner and production manager. Areas of Responsibility . Qualifications Who Are You? You need to thrive with the physical challenges the environment presents and genuinely enjoy a dynamic workday where we never stand still. Requirements: Mechanical technical foundation / background: This role requires deep understanding of a tough and physical industrial environment. Secondary education. Driver's license category B. Experience in a supervisory role. Proven experience working with continuous improvements and development. Highly desirable and merit-adding: Forklifts certification. BAM (Better Workplace Environment) training. Personal Qualities: As a person, you are self-driven, unafraid to make your own decisions, and take immediate action on assigned tasks. For larger strategic matters, you naturally consult in advance. You have a demonstrated ability to maintain order and handle large amounts of input without losing control. You remain calm under pressure, dare to speak up when needed, and help out where needed at the facility without getting too caught up in your job description. We see that you have strong communication skills and you motivate the team through your leadership approach.
