Participants here work in practical positions or employment-policy positions according to the BEA agreement. The target group consists mainly of people receiving financial assistance who are often far removed from the job market. Working alongside engaged colleagues, you will help people take steps closer to work, studies, and self-sufficiency. Your responsibilities As a supervisor, you will lead, plan, and organize the daily work in our operations while working closely with participants and being an active part of the activities. You create structure, mentor, and motivate participants in their development toward working life and contribute to a safe, inclusive, and development-oriented work environment. You are responsible for the work environment in the operation and work actively on continuous improvements. Together with case handlers, work instructors, and administrators, you collaborate on participants' individual planning and ensure that the operation functions both practically and administratively. Your responsibilities also include monitoring participant attendance and handling invoicing documentation. We are seeking supervisors for our operations within the café, facility maintenance, and the Kretsloppan secondhand shop. You should therefore have an interest in service and practical work. Our operations develop based on participants' needs and the municipality's mission, which means that content and working methods may change over time. Your qualifications We are looking for you as a confident and engaged supervisor with the ability to create structure, build good relationships, and motivate others. For this position, you need to have: post-secondary education in social work or other education that the employer deems equivalent experience with employment initiatives, social work, or other work with people in transition good ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work good collaboration skills and ability to build trusting relationships practical skills and an interest in service and varied work tasks a Class B driver's license. It is a merit if you have an established network within the local business community and experience in creating contacts with employers to find pathways for participants to work or other meaningful activities.
