Terminal Supervisor – Nurminen Logistics, Frövi

About the Position On behalf of Nurminen Logistics, we are now looking for a Terminal Supervisor for the terminal in Frövi. In this role, your main responsibility is to lead and distribute the daily work at the terminal, and when needed, you will also work operatively alongside the team. You will be a key person in the operation where you ensure that daily work runs efficiently and safely. The role involves close collaboration with terminal staff where you plan, prioritize, and support the practical work when needed. The operation is connected to rail logistics, which means that work sometimes requires flexibility – trains can be delayed and planning may need to be adjusted during the day. Your main duties include: • Leading and distributing daily work for terminal staff • Ensuring that goods are handled efficiently and in accordance with safety procedures • Supporting operational work such as loading, unloading, and forklift operation when needed • Ensuring that workplace environment and safety procedures are followed • Working closely with transport management and other functions in the operation Your Profile We are looking for you – a clear and responsible leader with experience from terminal, warehouse, or logistics operations. You thrive in a role where you both lead the work and are actively involved in the operation. We are looking for someone with: • Experience in supervisory work within terminal, warehouse, or logistics • Forklift certification and experience operating counterbalance forklifts • Experience with load securing • Good ability to work in a structured and solution-oriented manner • B-class driver's license It is a plus if you have: • Experience with container stuffing • Experience loading railroad cars • Experience handling different types of goods, including hazardous materials Other Information Scope: Full-time Working Hours: Day shift initially, but the operation plans to transition to two-shift operations, which means you need to be prepared for shift work in the future. The operation is connected to rail logistics, which means work sometimes requires flexibility – trains can be delayed and planning may need to be adjusted during the day.
