Welding Supervisor

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead and develop both employees and operations in a production environment where quality, safety, and efficiency are in focus. A Day on the Job As a supervisor, you are responsible for the daily operations of the welding department. You lead, support, and develop your team while ensuring that production meets established goals for quality, delivery, safety, and efficiency. You work closely with the operations and are an important part of creating the right conditions for both employees and production. Together with the department manager and other functions within the organization, you actively contribute to improving work methods, processes, and the work environment. Your responsibilities include: Lead and allocate daily work on the department. Plan, follow up, and prioritize production based on operational needs. Ensure that quality, safety, and delivery targets are achieved. Work on continuous improvements of processes and work methods. Follow up on key performance indicators and drive initiatives for increased efficiency and quality. Ensure that procedures, regulations, and occupational health and safety requirements are complied with. Reporting and administration in the business system Infor XA. The role combines close operational leadership with administrative tasks. Shift work may occur. Is This You? We are looking for someone with experience in supervisory roles within manufacturing. If you also have experience from welding production, we see that as a strong merit. You are a confident and clear leader who creates engagement, participation, and good results. Through present leadership, you build trust, make decisions, and drive work forward in a structured way. For success in this role, we would like you to have: Experience in a supervisory or other leadership role within industry. Good understanding of production processes and improvement work. Ability to create structure, prioritize, and follow up on results. Good computer skills and experience with administrative tasks. Experience or knowledge within welding is highly desirable, as is experience in quality work, occupational health and safety matters, and piecework wage systems.
