Your role Our operations are growing and we are now seeking an Operations Supervisor with facility responsibility who wants to become part of our team! In this role, you work day shifts and have personnel and occupational health and safety responsibility for two operators. You are a present leader who ensures that employees have the right conditions, knowledge, and resources to perform their work in a safe and efficient manner. You also have overall technical responsibility within your area, which includes developing and maintaining process knowledge as well as responsibility for parts of the facility. In your work, you collaborate closely with other supervisors and support functions and actively contribute to the development of operations. Your team You are placed at the Concentration Plant in Boliden and work on-site together with your colleagues. You are part of the production department, which consists of process operators, shift supervisors, and production technicians. Together, you work toward common goals and report to the Production Manager for the Concentration Plant. Your workplace The Concentration Plant is part of the Boliden area together with three mines and plays a central role in extracting and producing metals. Ore from the mines comes to us to be refined into concentrate that can be sold to our customers, the smelters. At our facility, the ore goes through several different process steps, including grinding, flotation, and leaching of precious metals. An important part of our operations is also the management of our tailings storage and treatment of process water before it is released into the environment. Your responsibilities Your responsibilities include, among other things: - Lead and allocate work for operations personnel - Ensure that personnel have the right competence, qualifications, and staffing - Ensure that we achieve our production targets - Lead smaller projects and serve as a technical resource in larger projects - Conduct risk assessments and risk analyses and ensure that these are complied with - Work systematically with documentation, SOPs (standard operating procedures), instructions, and training materials for operations personnel - Work in several different digital operations and business systems - Serve as Hot Work permit issuer Your contribution We look forward to working with you as someone who is responsible, solution-oriented, and enjoys building good relationships and collaborating in cross-functional teams. You are also interested in change management and have the ability to bring others along on development journeys and improvement initiatives. To be suitable for this role, we see that you have: - Upper secondary education and relevant work experience from a similar role or operation, or alternatively post-secondary technical education - Fluent knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written - Good knowledge of English, both spoken and written - Class B driver's license Meritorious qualifications include: - Experience with leadership issues - University education, civil engineer in maintenance or similar field - Knowledge of legislation and regulations in the industry (AFS regulations, machine safety, inspectable facilities, etc.) We offer a diverse and responsible role where you have the opportunity to create something new and be part of influencing our operations.
