About the role As a supervisor, you are responsible for our meal service attendants who work on the care wards at Karolinska University Hospital. By leading and developing the team of meal service attendants, you create the conditions for professional and caring service where service, quality, and patient needs are at the center. You lead a group of approximately 70 employees where your responsibility is to plan, lead, and distribute work and ensure efficient and high-quality delivery of Sodexo's services. The role also involves close collaboration with the customer where you attentively identify needs and ensure that Sodexo delivers according to agreement and expectations. You are responsible for the operation's operations, personnel, and work environment, and you are part of the assignment's management team and report to the site manager. Meal service attendants are responsible for everything related to meal handling on the care wards, for example: Ordering patient meals and goods from the central kitchen Preparation of snacks Serving meals to patients Dishes and kitchen cleaning Internal audits according to applicable regulations Your work tasks Responsible for the operational activities and leading, directing, and following up on the business. Ensure efficient resource utilization and high delivery quality. Develop and improve the business's working methods and processes. Responsible for competence supply through recruitment, onboarding, and employee development. Ensure that work is carried out in accordance with requirements and safety. Build and maintain good customer relationships. Responsible for work environment issues and personnel management. We are looking for you who Have completed upper secondary education. Have experience with personnel responsibility and management in an organization with many employees, preferably in a public operation. Have experience with scheduling and staffing matters. Have good system knowledge and good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Have very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written. Have a valid driver's license (category B). Meritorious knowledge Education in nutrition, food service, or food science. Experience working in a hospital or care environment.
