About the job
We're looking for you who loves food, people, and sales and want to become part of our great team at Willys Hemma Gothenburg Påvelund! In short, the position means you contribute to enabling our customers to shop for good and sustainable food at really good prices, while you're being prepared to take the step to become an assistant manager.
The position: Permanent employment at 32 hours per week. Trial employment applies.
Start date: September 1, 2026, or by agreement.
Working hours: You will vary between working early mornings, daytime, evenings, and weekends.
Requirements: Upper secondary education, good Swedish language skills (spoken and written). We welcome applicants of all ages, but with reference to the Work Environment Authority's regulations AFS 2023:2 chapter 8 and appendix 2, we do not hire people under 18 years of age due to the nature of the work tasks.
Here's a bit more about the position:
You are a team player with more responsibility for supervising, delegating, and prioritizing than other store employees, but without personnel management responsibility.
Of course you participate in daily store operations.
You learn the knowledge and skills required to eventually take on a role as an assistant manager. This is a stepping stone for you to advance in your Willys career with the goal of becoming a future assistant manager, team leader, or perhaps eventually a store manager?
You work goal-oriented to develop the store's sales, profitability, and other key metrics.
You are part of store management and have the assistant manager's job description on your development plan. You practice the skills you have learned at work and through training.
You are a role model in meeting our customers with knowledge, attention to detail, and a big smile.
