In this role, you will work with us according to our vision – Everyone has the right to a good life. Palmbladsgatan is a day activity service for individuals covered by LSS personkrets 1. The workplace is located in bright, pleasant facilities across two floors with a total of 600 m². The workplace is currently organized into different focus areas such as music, studio, pod, and carpentry, and includes close collaboration with colleagues. The activity accepts participants between 18-65 years old. The capacity is 46 places. The facility is located in Slavsta at Palmbladsgatan 2 in Uppsala and has good bus connections. We have a LOV agreement with Uppsala Municipality and also accept individuals from other municipalities through individual agreements. About the Position Work as a work supervisor offers you varied and eventful work where adaptations and changes are always in focus. The work provides you with the opportunity to further develop the activity within your respective area while working in a creative environment. You have access to three music rooms in total, two of which are fully equipped studios where our participants can compose and record their own songs; the third is a larger ensemble room with drums, guitars, piano, and microphones, among other things. You will collaborate with other colleagues and participate in the overall work and planning for the entire activity. All staff have a role as a contact person for one or more participants. The contact person role includes, among other things, establishing an implementation plan together with the participant and/or their representative regarding how and when support will be provided and how we work together to reach the participant's goals and sub-goals. Participants have functional variations included within LSS personkrets 1, including intellectual disabilities, autism, or autism-like conditions. Additional diagnoses such as dyslexia, ADHD, ADD, Tourette's, and behavioral issues may also occur. We apply a six-month probationary period. The position is 1 part-time role at approximately 80%. Working hours are daytime, Monday to Friday. Who Are You? You need to enjoy changes, be driven, and have good organizational and planning skills since your work will involve creating schedules for the focus area at both individual and group levels. You need the ability to share your knowledge in a pedagogical way and put participants in the spotlight. Your work mainly involves supervising in daily activities. You plan, initiate, manage, conclude, and follow up on processes and work tasks related to music and music production, and you provide support and service based on assistance decisions. Furthermore, you are service-oriented and have professional conduct in all situations and have an easy time collaborating with participants, relatives, colleagues, and other partners such as residential facilities and support coordinators. It is important that you can work independently but also together with others. For this position, you must have: Secondary education – Social work, care, or pedagogy Computer skills and good knowledge of Swedish language, both spoken and written, is required as documentation is an important part of the work Experience and knowledge of the target group Driver's license category B Meritorious We would like you to have several years of experience working in day activity services Some post-secondary education, focused on social work, behavioral science, or pedagogy Knowledge/education regarding playing instruments and producing music Other We place great importance on personal suitability.
