As a work supervisor, you belong to the Labor Market Unit and have your workplace at Viaduct. Here you work together with two other work supervisors in a safe and developing environment where you support participants in developing their abilities, strengthen their self-confidence, and take the next step toward work or studies.
The work is varied and takes place in several practical activities where you supervise participants based on their individual goals and conditions. Examples of work areas include:
🌱 The Greenhouse – cultivation, planting, and care in a green environment.
👩🍳 The Kitchen – cooking, baking, and kitchen work with a focus on collaboration and planning.
♻️ The Return Yard – reuse, sorting, and sustainability.
🪚 The Carpentry Workshop – practical creation, repair, and problem-solving.
🧵 The Sewing Studio – sewing, reuse, and textile creation.
We are looking for you who want to combine practical work with great commitment to people and who are motivated by seeing others develop.
The Labor Market Unit encompasses financial assistance, municipal labor market policy, refugee reception, budget and debt counseling, Pre-rehab/Active Force, and daily activities according to LSS.

WORK TASKS
Work Tasks
As a work supervisor, you work closely with participants on their journey toward work or studies. You plan, lead, and follow up on work tasks and activities while motivating, guiding, and developing participants' work capacity.
The work involves creating a learning environment where participants develop both workplace competence and independence. You work pedagogically and in a customized way based on each participant's conditions.
You will:
Supervise participants in practical work tasks,
Motivate and coach participants toward work or studies,
Plan and structure daily work,
Follow up on participants' development and progression,
Document and work in digital management systems,
Collaborate with labor market coordinators, social workers, and other professionals,
Contribute to developing the organization's work methods and processes.
We work in a process-oriented manner where the participant's journey through the organization is at the center. This means that together with colleagues, you take responsibility for the entire process and contribute to close collaboration between different functions.
QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifications
We are looking for you who have:
Relevant post-secondary education, preferably university or college education
Experience working as a work leader or equivalent in practical operations,
Experience in practical work, for example in carpentry, greenhouse, kitchen, reuse/sorting/sustainability,
Experience working with people with different needs, conditions, and different cultural and linguistic backgrounds
B-class driver's license
Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
Very good computer skills,
Very good ability to document and use digital tools,
Experience with a process-oriented work approach,
Experience working pedagogically and with a coaching/motivating work style,
Experience working with labor market policy measures,
You have the ability to work with other people; to listen, show empathy, and respect. You are unpretentious and notice and reward others' contributions.
You have the ability to create and maintain good relationships, both internally and externally. You collaborate well with people in different contexts and functions.
You have the ability to write clearly, distinctly, and well-structured, and you can adapt your texts to the intended target audience.
You have the ability to plan and organize your work. You find it easy to set goals, organize resources, follow up, and complete activities.
You have a high ability to deliver results, both in terms of quality and productivity. You work in a systematic, methodical, and reliable manner. You find it easy to focus on customer needs and achieve good customer satisfaction.
You have the ability to follow instructions, procedures, legal requirements, and policies, and to adhere to set schedules.
