Our Mission Within the Coordinated Support Operations Area, we provide coordinated services to job seekers and employers to shorten the time to sustainable employment and sustainable recruitment, as well as prevent incorrect payments and violations of the welfare systems. Arbetsförmedlingen Västmanland is a unit with 170 employees and is responsible for a geographic area with ten municipalities. Job Description We are looking for someone who enjoys working toward clear goals and can follow regulations and processes in a legally sound manner. As an employment advisor within coordinated support, you work in-depth with job seekers who have difficulty establishing themselves in the labor market through mapping and assessment of job seekers' needs in relation to labor market needs. You make qualified assessments and make decisions about interventions that support job seekers toward the goal of work or studies. The work takes place primarily through physical meetings and in close cooperation with employers, authorities and other actors. Another part of the daily work is to help employers who need greater support in their recruitment. The work involves extensive and close contacts with employers to find job opportunities for job seekers. You need to have a strong ability to be proactive, take your own initiatives and create good business relationships. Some of our new employees will work with the SIUS initiative (Special Introduction and Follow-up Support). SIUS is a program for job seekers with disabilities who need individual support to find, obtain or maintain employment. The job involves close cooperation with employers in both the private and public sectors, often at workplaces, which requires transportation in a company vehicle. The work is intensive and dynamic and you need to be flexible, able to prioritize and drive processes forward. As a SIUS employment advisor, you are the driving force in processes where your initiative-taking ability makes a difference. You will work according to clear processes and laws and your work performance will be measured on your ability to achieve results based on set goals. Travel during work is included, as is working with job seekers and employers throughout the region. Start date by agreement. The placement location is Västerås. The possibility to work remotely to some extent exists after 6 months probationary period.
