Our Mission Within the Coordinated Support operational area, we provide coordinated services to job seekers and employers to shorten the time to sustainable employment and recruitment, and to prevent incorrect payments and fraud against the welfare system. We meet job seekers with significant support needs and employers who want to broaden their recruitment, based on our local knowledge and understanding of the labor market. Our Workplace Our Västerbotten unit is geographically large and consists of 15 municipalities and approximately 150 employees. We have 5 staffed offices as well as offices we visit. At the Storuman office, which consists of 5 employees, we are now looking for 2 Employment Specialists. We work together where collaboration and collegial support are central to creating a good workplace. Together we work toward common goals and can always count on each other's support in our daily work. Our leadership means we lead results-oriented with a close and coaching approach that encourages participation, motivation, and responsibility. Job Description As an Employment Specialist within Coordinated Support, you work in-depth with job seekers who need individual and often long-term support to enter or remain on the labor market. The work is primarily conducted through physical meetings and in close collaboration with employers, public agencies, and other actors to coordinate services based on the individual's needs. You also work with employers based on skills supply needs and support them in broadening their recruitment. An important part of the assignment is to inform about the Swedish Public Employment Service's services as well as rights and responsibilities, and provide support on the path to work. You also handle incoming inquiries by phone from both job seekers and employers with significant support needs. To succeed in this role, you work in a structured manner and are confident in interpreting and applying laws and regulations. You document in a legally secure manner, act professionally when meeting with people, and can navigate multiple systems simultaneously. The assignment includes conducting investigative, guiding, and sometimes complex conversations, and working toward established goals. Your employment begins with an introduction that gives you good conditions to succeed in your role as a civil servant. Our Offer This is a permanent full-time position that begins with a six-month probationary period. Start date by agreement. The placement location is Storuman. Basic Requirements for the Position University/college education of at least 180 credit points (120 points according to the previous system) Alternatively You have been employed as an Employment Specialist at the Swedish Public Employment Service and are assessed to have good conditions to meet current requirements for Employment Specialists And At least 2 years of work experience, a total of at least 50 percent work over 2 years combined Very good knowledge of Swedish Driver's License Category B Other Merits for the Position Experience with and knowledge of collaboration with other actors, such as public agencies, municipalities, partners, and employers Work experience in guidance and coaching Experience working with people with disabilities Work experience in interpreting and applying regulations The state values guide us in our daily work.
