Our Mission
Within the Coordinated Support operational area, we provide coordinated measures to job seekers and employers to shorten the time to sustainable employment and sustainable recruitment, and to prevent incorrect payments and violations of the welfare systems. We meet job seekers with significant support needs and employers who want to broaden their recruitment, based on our local presence and knowledge of the labor market.
Our Workplace
Within Coordinated Support Norrbotten, we work together across our 14 municipalities and consist of approximately 100 employees stationed at one of our 7 staffed offices. In our work with the region's competence provision, collaboration and collegial support are central factors in creating both results and a good working environment. Together we work towards common goals and support each other in our daily work.
The unit is characterized by results-oriented, close and coaching leadership that encourages participation, motivation and responsibility.
Job Description
As an employment officer within Coordinated Support, you work in depth with job seekers who need individual and often long-term support to enter or remain on the labor market. The work takes place through both physical and digital meetings and in close cooperation with employers, authorities and other actors to coordinate measures based on the individual's needs. You also work with employers based on competence provision needs and support them in broadening their recruitment.
An important part of the assignment is to inform about the Employment Service's services as well as rights and obligations, and to provide support on the path to work. You also handle incoming matters by telephone from both job seekers and employers with significant support needs.
To succeed in the role, you work in a structured manner and are confident in interpreting and applying laws and regulations. You document in a legally sound manner, act professionally when meeting people and can navigate multiple IT systems simultaneously. The assignment includes conducting investigative, guiding and sometimes complex conversations, as well as working towards set goals.
Some of our new employees will work with a focus on SIUS (Special Introduction and Follow-up Support). SIUS is a program for job seekers with disabilities who need individual support to find, obtain or retain employment. The job involves close cooperation with employers in both the private and public sectors, often at workplaces, which requires transport in a service vehicle. The work is intensive and dynamic and you need to be flexible, able to prioritize and drive processes forward. As a SIUS employee, you are the driving force in processes where your initiative makes a difference.
It is the operational needs that over time determine an employment officer's focus area, so it may change over time both based on individual development and changes in operational needs.
Your employment will begin with an introduction that gives you good conditions to succeed in the role as a civil servant.
Our Offer
The position is a permanent full-time employment that may begin with a six-month probationary period. The place of work is Kiruna. During the introduction period, a number of days will be held at other locations such as Gällivare or Luleå, which may require overnight stays.
We offer favorable vacation agreements, wellness benefits during working hours and wellness allowances.
