About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical logistics engineer with experience in financial analysis and monitoring. In this role, you will be a bridge between operations and finance by optimizing supply chain processes while ensuring correct cost allocation and profitability insights. This position is ideal for you if you are comfortable working with and analyzing data, enjoy process improvements, and can translate operational activities into financial impact. Key Responsibilities: Design, analyze, and optimize supply chain processes within planning, procurement, and manufacturing. Develop and maintain calculations and cost models to provide accurate cost insights at the product and process level Collaborate with the finance department to link operational data to financial reporting and cost structures. Identify cost drivers and opportunities for efficiency improvements Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost control efforts Analyze inventory, logistics, and production flows to improve operational processes. Develop KPIs to monitor performance, cost efficiency, and process efficiency. Lead or support cross-functional improvement initiatives. Provide data-driven recommendations to management for strategic decisions Your Profile We are looking for someone who is analytical, structured, and business-oriented with strong financial understanding. You thrive in a role where you work closely with operations, understand flows and processes in depth, and translate data into concrete improvements. You are proactive, solution-oriented, and results-focused – with your ability to see connections between operational activities and financial results, you contribute to better decision-making, increased cost awareness, and improved profitability. You have good communication skills and enjoy cross-functional collaboration where you can clearly present analyses to different audiences. We also see that you have: An engineering degree in logistics or another relevant higher education. Documented experience in supply chain engineering, operations analysis, or similar roles Solid practical experience with cost modeling methods Good understanding of financial principles, cost structures, and profitability analysis Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems and BI tools. Experience with Infor M3 is a plus Strong analytical skills and good problem-solving and communication abilities Ability to work cross-functionally between operations and finance Experience from manufacturing or process industry is a plus About Us For over 70 years, Diab has been a world leader in developing, manufacturing, and selling high-tech core materials for wind power, marine, industrial, aircraft manufacturing, and transportation sectors.
