Work Tasks
You provide qualified technical support in our investment projects within road and rail. In the role, we work in different phases—from early planning and preparation of tender documents to implementation and production.
Here you contribute specialist knowledge in bridge and structural engineering and ensure that technical solutions and documents meet applicable requirements, regulations, and project objectives.
The work includes, among other things:
reviewing construction drawings and technical solutions
supporting project management in technical assessments and decisions
participating in design meetings and technical coordination
monitoring technical deliverables during planning, design, and production
collaborating with consultants, contractors, and construction management
participating in procurement and evaluation of technical consulting services
contributing to the development of work methods, procedures, and technical regulations in the field

We're Looking For You Who
have a civil engineering degree in Civil Engineering/Road and Water Engineering with a focus on bridge structures, or alternatively another engineering degree combined with work experience that Trafikverket deems equivalent.
have many years of current and relevant work experience assessing, handling, and independently preparing documents for bridge structures.
have current and relevant experience working with industry documents, applicable regulations, and frameworks within the field of structural works.
have a driver's license for passenger cars
have good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing
It Is Meritorious If You
have many years of current and relevant work experience in design concerning bridge structures.
have current and relevant experience having worked as a technical responsible person or project manager regarding structural works.
have current and relevant work experience from planning and construction of rail and/or road.
have current and relevant work experience from verification of construction documentation regarding structural works in accordance with Trafikverket's regulations.
