About the position
Amf4/Gothenburg Garrison is now seeking an officer (OFF/SO/RO) as a dangerous goods security advisor with the overall task of supporting management in ensuring that dangerous goods transports are conducted in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. Both for Amf 4 with its subordinate units and entities, and for other parts of the garrison in a coordinating role. Training will be provided as needed in connection with employment.
About Amf4/Gothenburg Garrison
Älvsborgsh Amphibious Regiment (Amf4) is one of Sweden's two Amphibious Regiments and was re-established in 2022. Amf4 hosts several different types of units and entities that conduct training and execute military operations daily. Amf4 is headquartered in Gothenburg, Käringberget, but also conducts operations at other locations on the west coast. The commander of Amf4 also serves as garrison commander for Gothenburg Garrison. Within Gothenburg Garrison, in addition to Amf4, there are other organizational units subject to regulations regarding dangerous goods transport.
Main responsibilities
Serve as advisor and expert to C Amf4 in the field of dangerous goods
Functionally lead work on dangerous goods within Amf4
Under coordination, support the dangerous goods subject area for other units within the garrison
Cooperate and collaborate with various related functions throughout the Armed Forces in the dangerous goods subject area
Qualification requirements
Officer training (OFF/SO/RO)
Driver's license category B
Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in both Swedish and English
Meritorious qualifications
Certified security advisor for transport of dangerous goods by road with a valid MSB certificate, or has experience and worked as a security advisor, dangerous goods function representative, or ADR instructor within the Swedish Armed Forces
Good knowledge of the Swedish Armed Forces and how a government agency is managed
Have completed ADR instructor training and been examined by MSB with a passing result and possess a valid ADR instructor certificate
Personal qualities

Employment type: Permanent employment. The Swedish Armed Forces apply a six-month probation period for those not already employed by the agency.
